Creative Car Photography Workshop
Hidden steps away from the Pennsylvania Turnpike in southeast, PA, is a wonderful place to visit and explore. Classic Auto Mall is a world-class consignment house, with over 1,000 automobiles in over 336, 000 square feet of space! For classic car lovers-this place is a dream. For photographers looking to challenge themselves creatively, this is a wonderful playground!
Wether you’re an automobile aficionado, or just someone like me who can appreciate the incredible beauty of the color, shapes, lines, etc, you will thoroughly enjoy visiting and photographing here with us!
The main emphasis of the workshop is creativity. We will be focusing on not just documenting our subjects, but learning to see them in new, unique ways, capturing images that truly reveal their character. We will do this through creative use of composition, perspective, aperture choice, lens choice and more! You will leave this workshop with far more creative and unique images than you thought possible, without special gear or difficult techniques. You will also gain a greater understanding of how lens choice and perspective can have a massive impact on your images, and how to use these skills to think differently and see your subjects in a more unique way.
Join us for our first photo trek to this amazing place! Attendees kept to a minimum to allow for greater hands-on learning with your instructor. A detailed list of gear suggestions and all other pertinent info will be emailed about a week prior to the workshop. We will also have a pre-trek class via Zoom to go through images and tons of teaching tips to get you ready for the event. Your registration also includes a post-trek image review, where we will go through participant’s favorite images, discussing how they might be improved. Some post processing tips will be given, as well.

Updated Terms & Conditions – Valerie A Hoffman Photography (March 2023)
As we live in our new ‘normal’, the following updated policies are being put in place to protect the health and wellbeing of all workshop attendees, as well as those who we will come in contact with during events.
That being said, here is what you need to know and comply with:
- Anyone who is sick with COVID like symptoms or has a fever over 100 degrees must not attend the event. Amount paid may be put towards a future workshop, or can be refunded in full if notice is given in advance. Suggest checking your temperature BEFORE leaving home. By registering for an event, you also agree to a touchless temperature check at the initial gathering for any workshop or trek.
- Face Masks are optional unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation Policy:
Two (2) weeks notice is required to receive a full refund. 75% refund of the Trek fee with only one (1) week notice. NO refund will be given if less than one (1) week notice is given for cancellation. Must call to cancel. We reserve the right to cancel the Trek at our discretion. Minimum number of participants is necessary to run event.
