Delaware Water Gap Weekend Adventure! Waterfalls and Luna Parc!!!
One of my favorite times to photograph waterfalls is in the early spring, when the leaves just have that amazing early green glow, the temps are (usually) mild, and there is often mist and fog in the early morning air. Perfect conditions for waterfall photography.
On day one, we will meet bright and early in the DWG, and spend a full day photographing the beautiful waterfalls and streams in the Delaware Water Gap. Potential stops will be Bushkill, Childs Park, Dingman’s Falls and stream, Marshall’s Falls, and Raymondskill Falls.
Then on day 2, we have reserved a special visit to Luna Parc-the amazing private residence of Ricky Boscarino. We will photograph there in the morning, then head back over to the PA side of the Gap to continue our waterfall adventure where we left off.
And for those who will be participating for both days (you can register for Friday or Saturday separately), weather permitting, there will be an additional option to drive a few minutes into New York to photograph the awesome, curvy road at Hawk’s Nest, to capture long exposures of car trails heading up and down the highway!
Hotel suggestions will be sent after registration. 2 double rooms have been reserved. First registrants get room option!

Updated Terms & Conditions – Valerie A Hoffman Photography (March 2023)
As we live in our new ‘normal’, the following updated policies are being put in place to protect the health and wellbeing of all workshop attendees, as well as those who we will come in contact with during events.
That being said, here is what you need to know and comply with:
- Anyone who is sick with COVID like symptoms or has a fever over 100 degrees must not attend the event. Amount paid may be put towards a future workshop, or can be refunded in full if notice is given in advance. Suggest checking your temperature BEFORE leaving home. By registering for an event, you also agree to a touchless temperature check at the initial gathering for any workshop or trek.
- Face Masks are optional unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation Policy:
Two (2) weeks notice is required to receive a full refund. 75% refund of the Trek fee with only one (1) week notice. NO refund will be given if less than one (1) week notice is given for cancellation. Must call to cancel. We reserve the right to cancel the Trek at our discretion. Minimum number of participants is necessary to run event.
