You’ve heard it said that you should always shoot in RAW-but WHY? What benefits will that give over shooting in JPG? All images can benefit from some Post-Processing, but those shot in RAW definitely require it, as they have no edits applied by your camera upon capture. Most photographers do not fully understands how easily you can go from a good image to a great image with just a few clicks of a mouse. It’s not nearly as intimidating as it seems! Even those who currently edit their images are often confused and unsure of the best way to approach the process.
In this approximately 3 to 4 hour class, we will cover every aspect of a simple, but complete imaging workflow. We’ll go from capture, to import, to keywording and organizing images so that no matter how many images you have, you will be able to find one in seconds! Then we’ll move on to a simple series of adjustments using Adobe Lightroom that anyone can master in no time flat. The goal of the class would be for you to become completely confident in all aspects of a simple, organized and systematic workflow that will take you from Capture to Exporting your images to share!
The images to the left show the Before and After versions of images processed only using the basic adjustments in Adobe Lightroom. There will be a follow up class that focus on using the “Local” adjustment tools also in Lightroom to further bring your images to life.
