Waterfall Photography In the Beautiful Pocono Mountains
***Due to lack of rain and water flow, this event is postponed until further notice. I hate to do it, but it would not provide a great experience for participants-which matters greatly to me.***
Join us for a full day of hands-on waterfall photography in the stunning Pocono Mountains. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop will guide you through the essentials of capturing waterfalls—from choosing the right settings to composing dynamic shots in nature.
We’ll hike to multiple waterfalls and spend time practicing techniques like long exposures, motion blur, and framing to bring out the best in every cascade. Along the way, you’ll learn how to work with natural light, use filters effectively, and troubleshoot common challenges.
This workshop is designed to boost your confidence behind the camera and help you create striking landscape photos you’ll be proud to share. Expect practical guidance, plenty of shooting time, and tips you can use on any adventure.
Come ready to shoot, learn, and walk away with your best waterfall images yet!
Tentative places we’ll visit: Bushkill Falls, George C Childs State Park, Marshalls Falls, Raymondskill Falls, and possibly more!
The workshop will not entail any long hikes, but there will be steps and stairs to navigate at each location. Participants should be physically fit enough to carry their gear and walk 1/4 to approximately 1 mile. Contact me if there are any concerns
Plan on meeting at the Pennsylvania Welcome Center, 18 River Rd, Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327
From there people can carpool or drive separately. We will break for lunch in between stops. Participants can bring their own picnic lunch or purchase in the area.
Participants will receive an email after registration with pre-workshop Zoom link, as well as details regarding how to best prepare for the workshop.

As we live in our new ‘normal’, the following updated policies are being put in place to protect the health and wellbeing of all workshop attendees, as well as those who we will come in contact with during events.
That being said, here is what you need to know and comply with:
- Anyone who is sick with COVID like symptoms or has a fever over 100 degrees must not attend the event. Amount paid may be put towards a future workshop, or can be refunded in full if notice is given in advance. Suggest checking your temperature BEFORE leaving home. By registering for an event, you also agree to a touchless temperature check at the initial gathering for any workshop or trek.
- Face Masks are optional unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation Policy:
Two (2) weeks notice is required to receive a full refund. 75% refund of the Trek fee with only one (1) week notice. NO refund will be given if less than one (1) week notice is given for cancellation. Must call to cancel. We reserve the right to cancel the Trek at our discretion. Minimum number of participants is necessary to run event.
