DESCRIPTION:This week’s event fall on an important holiday. As I know many of you will be occupied doing something special with someone special\, I’m making this a free event for those who are available. \nDuring our original Tuesdays Together series during the COVID lockdown\, we did several image reviews\, and the feedback on them was fantastic. Most photographers capture the best image they know how\, and are not sure how they could have improved the image\, both out in the field\, and then after capture in post processing. Join us as we review several participant images\, where we will discuss composition\, light\, lens and aperture choice\, and potential ways to improve your images-both in the field and in post processing. \nIn appreciate for the support shown to me and my business\, I’ll share the love by making this week’s event absolutely free! SUMMARY:Tuesdays Together_The Beauty of Black and White
DESCRIPTION:I tend to gravitate towards bold color subjects and images\, but there are many scenes and subjects that are far better as black and whites than in color. These images tend to be more graphically pleasing and moody. Shooting in/or converting to black and white in post processing reveals lines\, shapes\, texture and dimension far better than a color image ever could. There are also certain lighting situations that just lend themselves better in black and white. \nUnderstanding when to shoot for black and white\, and how to convert a color image and edit to bring out the best is a tool that should be in everyone’s photographic toolbox! \nJoin us as we discuss what types of scenes and subjects lend themselves to black and white imagery\, and then best practices for editing them in Adobe LR. These tips will help no matter what software you use. \nCost is only $5!
