The Mill at Anselma Photo Trek

October 26 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Nestled along Pickering Creek in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, the Mill at Anselma is an extraordinary historic site demonstrating over 250 years of Chester County’s industrial history. The 22-acre property and surviving historical buildings demonstrate a heritage engineered to last.

The Mill retains its original Colonial-Era power train and multiple layers of industrial equipment ranging from the late 1700s to the mid-1900s. The Mill at Anselma is the last custom grain mill in America that can still produce a product with its original wooden engineering.

Join me as we spend several hours photographing this historic mill complex. The creative possibilities are overflowing. Instruction will be given on creative composition, creative exposure settings and how to best capture the high dynamic range light, how to use artificial light to fill in shadows and more!

We will begin with a pre-trek class via Zoom, to go over all the details along with shooting tips and techniques. Hands-on instruction will continue throughout the workshop. Afterwards, there will be an image review held via Zoom where the learning will continue as we go through composition, exposure settings etc and discuss any ways images might have been improved.

Space is limited. Register today!

The Mill at Anselma is located at 1730 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425
